ABOUT THE OWNER:

Noah was born and raised in rural Maine. Exposure to aquariums, ponds, water filtration, and intense work ethic influenced his progression into the niche world of koi husbandry and koi pond construction. Growing up, his father owned a well known water purification company on the central coast of Maine where he worked during the summers.

Noah started Bay Area Koi Ponds in 2013 under the name East Bay Aquatics. Directly after moving to California in 2009 he was hired to be the Pond & Aquatic Specialist at Berkeley Horticulture Nursery and worked that job for 4 years where he learned the basics of koi pond care, filtration, koi keeping, and aquatic plants.

Dedication, intense focus, and his passion for all things koi and water filtration has helped create one of the most reputable koi pond construction & maintenance companies on the west coast.
