ABOUT THE OWNER:

Noah Twitchell was born and raised in rural Maine. Exposure to aquariums, ponds, water filtration, and intense work ethic from young age influenced him to stay focused and curious about the niche world of koi husbandry and koi pond construction. Growing up, his father owned a well known water purification company on the central coast of Maine where Noah worked during the summers and learned about construction and different types of water filtration.

Noah started Bay Area Koi Ponds in 2012 under the name East Bay Aquatics. Directly after moving to California in 2009 Noah was the Pond & Aquatic Specialist at Berkeley Horticulture Nursery for 4 years.

Dedication, intense focus, and his passion for all things koi and water filtration has helped create one of the most reputable koi pond construction & maintenance companies on the west coast.
